Wonderful night at Stockport, all swimmers did themselves and club very proud. Lots of PB's and fantastic effort from everyone. WELL DONE TO YOU ALL!!!!!!!

Summer Closing

We will be having an inflatable fun session on Tuesday 16th August. This will be the last session of the summer. Sessions will resume as normal on Tuesday 6th September. Have a great holiday everyone :)

Mini Meet Round 5

Fantastic night at Saturdays mini meet. Lots of PB's and another new mini meet record from Harry Rider.
Harry broke his own 25m freestyle record in a time of 15.88 winning a gold in the 8 year age group, he also took a bronze in the Individual Medley in a time of 1.39.35. Matthew and Katie Boardman achieved 6 personal best times between them costing their dad a fortune!!!!!!!! Well done to Joe Lewis and Elliot Buckley for PB's in the 200m IM. More PB's came from Chloe Jones, Kezia Rouch, Niamh Mitchell, Lisha Mistry and Olivia Rider in 200m Freestyle. In pool 2 at mini meet prep we had two PB's for Grace Lawton in 25m Free and 25m Fly. Maisy Best and Evie Lawton also put in great performances in their events.

Francesca Cross had a fantastic weekend at the Manchester Open she swam a 200 backstroke time of 2.34.10 qualifying her for the National Championships. She narrowly missed out on 100 backstroke with a time of 1.12.45 two brilliant swims.
Congratulations from everyone at Droylsden.

Mini Meet Grand Prix and Mini Meet Prep Round 3

Another fantastic effort from all our swimmers at this weekends Mini Meets & Mini Meet Prep at Grand Central Pools in Stockport.
Harry (the hazzard) Rider was once again flying in the boys 8 & under age group breaking his own 25m Freestyle Mini Meet record that he set in the previous round in a time of 16.84. Well done Harry.
We also had some fantastic efforts from the girls in the 200m Freestyle Kezia Rouch (4.13.82) took 3 secs off her previous best, Charlotte Williams (3.50.07) improved by 16 secs, Chloe Jones (3.12.46) improved by 22 secs and Mollie Best (3.26.19) improved by 28 secs. Lisha-Sonia Mistry entered this event for the first time and swam a brilliant (4.12.73). Great work girls.
Congratulations to Joseph Lewis, Matthew Boardman and Elliot Buckley who all improved their 50m Freestyle times.
We also had fantastic efforts from our younger swimmers competing in the Mini Meet Prep events, some great times were achieved in the 25m Freestyle. Lois Quinn 28.03, Evie Lawton 24.53, Katie Boardman 22.17 and Grace Lawton 20.92.

Congratulations to Chloe Jones and Katie Huane who have been selected to swim for Central Lancashire Association at the Inter Association Gala in May. Fantastic achievement girls.
